Small padded feet scampered quickly by feet almost as big as the small creature was. Every now and then the little dog-like animal would let out a growl even if he knew that it was pointless to do since feet couldn’t hear. But their owners could. It was rare when someone would actually look down and hear the noise. And when they did they would either kick him away are walk faster. Either way it didn’t matter. The tiny beast just wanted to get out of harm’s way. This should be any time soon since he was close to his destination.
A large stone near one of the channels was sitting tall and it kept people from walking right on top of it. It was close to the channel but not many boats went by so there would not be so much splashing. There would be nothing to worry about.
Finally reaching the rock, the Nightmare shook off his dark fur careful not to put out the flame going down his back. This always got the most attention. But he couldn't help it.
Soon he jumped up and perched himself on the rock. His scarlet orbs began to look at all the tall buildings. Well, tall to him since he was so tiny in comparison. He looked down at the rock beneath his paws and began to wonder why it was there. Surely they would not throw such a strange thing here for no reason. But he shrugged it off since it had saved him from being trampled. Of course he could always travel in his human form, but this was faster. Even though people tried to squish you.
After a man in one of the boats splashed at him to rid of the 'vermin,' Ryou snarled at himself and jumped from his spot. Stupid humans simply thought he was a big rat. That made him feel good about himself. Finally giving up on this form, Ryou quickly shifted into his human one. Thankfully nobody had noticed the quick transformation and the red head placed a hand on his brow while frowning at the boat that contained the man who had so rudely gotten him wet. Nobody had manners these days. So he should not have been surprised.
With a sigh and a quick raspberry at the back of the man's head, Ryou was off again. This time people moved out of his way as he walked by the water way. He had lived here for quite some time, but he never got out much. The water was blue and so was the sky. Everything was warm. Just the way he liked it. Personally, this little Nightmare did not enjoy cold weather. For many reasons. Not to mention the fact that he was so used to the heat.
As his mind began to drift, Ryou let out a casual yawn and stretched his arms over his head. Maybe this kind of travel wasn't so bad after all...

Satoshi didn't mind this land at all despite the humid conditions. The land of winter was to cold and he caught way to many colds for his own good. He decided to stay away from that land and even the land of autumn for that reason. If he gave into such weaknesses as a cold Krad would take over. Krad. The inner demon who took the form of an angel was clawing at his insides as he walked. He looked over and noticed an odd rock. Why it was there he didn't care but the fact that there was a rather large creature on the rock was what caught his attention. He noticed a man try and make it go away and it did. I wonder how much longer until I find my target. he wondered as he continued to walk.
He soon felt a pain in his heart. He knew well Krad would get out soon but he couldn't risk transforming here unless he wanted to cause people to panic. Krad of course lived for panic and Satoshi could feel his excitement grow larger inside him like air going into a balloon. But soon it would get so big that Satoshi would pop. And with that pop he was stuck in his own mind as Krad took over and did what he pleased.
Krad was a pecular person himself. On some days he was completely kind, others angry, some merciful, and others a completely murderer. He was almost like the seasons itself. Since he was in the warm land off summer Satoshi wondered if Krad would be warm and act kind. Satoshi decided to rest on a small bench. If he overexerted himself it would only be asking for trouble since Krad was already active within him again. Satoshi knew that if he just kept any emotions of his in check he should be fine.
His icy stared glared upwards as he noticed a person with red hair began to walk past the area where the rock was. Satoshi only gave a weak smile hello incase the stranger caught his glance.
