I have accepted my fate. I am no longer just a girl, no longer just a pitiful child who needs someone to follow. I no longer dislike my mother's death, nor do I hate the fire. I am not a loner any more. But I do hate the body guards that come along with the position I was destined to fill. I am Anume Anei. Keeper of Heart of the land of Natsu.
"I have heard there is no keeper of heart in this world. Is this true, Niko?" Anume questioned, her green sun dress flowing in the breeze. She was amazing to look at. Her tail had a darker green bow on it, and around her neck was a bell with black string that tied it around her neck. Her ears were perked forward as she waited for Niko's answer. Niko was her body guard.
"Yes, m'lady. It is true. Would you like to visit the Prince of this land?"
"Of course not. What can I do to help a land that is not my own?" Anume stated. "And haven't you heard? The Prince has fled these lands, making it vulnerable to attack. I can only pray there can be peace here as well as my home."
"Too true, m'lady."
"If you do not mind, Niko, I would like to be alone. To think and to enjoy my space. Could you please watch from a distance?" The male nodded and Anume went to the edge of the water. She sat on a stone, hoping against hope that someone would come and say hello to her. A sigh graced through her vocals and the memories came to flood through her mind.
